“Heartwork” is an adult adventure visual novel game that was released in Japan in 1997 and in the United States in 2009.

Since it was released quite a long time ago, the graphics of the game are indeed a bit crude compared to modern games. However, the game is basically fully voiced, which is quite good.

The game is centered around Asakura Yuu, an ordinary college student. One day, by chance, Yuu picks up a mysterious luggage bag. Little does he know that inside this bag are a gun and assassination instructions. This unexpected discovery plunges him into a chaotic and dangerous world that is filled with violence and sexual elements. From that moment on, Yuu has to navigate through various complex situations and encounters, and during the dialogues that occur throughout the game, players are required to make action choices on behalf of Yuu. Depending on these choices, the story can unfold in 19 different directions, each leading to a distinct ending.
